Creme Brulee

This ever popular dessert has it origins in 17th Century France, but has also has been associated with Trinity College, Cambridge, where it was introduced in 1879. This version has already been nibbled at so you can view the creamy custard underneath the hardened layer of burnt sugar. Decorated with a sprig of redcurrants and langues de chat biscuits.
